The Lord Tredegar
A beautifully charming East London pub, standing between Victorian houses on a tree-lined street with a pretty bricked beer garden to the rear and roaring fires inside. A floor-to-ceiling map of the world lines the wall of our ‘map room’ (does what it says on the tin), which is one of our favourite spots to enjoy a chilled vodka tonic or pint of locally brewed beer. Our Sunday roasts are a thing of local legend and our fantastic weekly menu features a seasonal offering made lovingly from locally sourced fresh produce.
Our menu is all cooked in-house in our open plan kitchen by Head Chef Malcolm Paterson and his team. We offer a regularly changing menu that makes use of quality seasonal ingredients from local suppliers. Gluten free, vegan or both? We’ve got you covered. Don’t be afraid to ask us more about our menu and special bookings. Our Christmas menu and special Christmas party menu have been lovingly created using high quality ingredients, with dishes that include a roasted turkey with rosemary potatoes, baked monkfish with fennel cream, a vegetarian puff pastry parcel and a clementine and ginger cheesecake.
Sit back and take in the atmospheric environs whilst clutching a pint of excellent beer or get cosy by our roaring fireplace with your dram of preference as temperatures start to drop. Home and away: we scour London for the best of local beers and spirits as well as serving up an impressive number of drinks from around the world, just in case you’re feeling a little adventurous. Oh la la.
